Codex Plugin
TensorPM for Codex
Bring structured, context-driven project management into Codex. TensorPM gives Codex a reliable workflow for projects, action items, workspaces, and high-context planning while keeping the desktop app as the local source of truth.
TensorPM
TensorPM is a Codex-ready plugin bundle for context-driven project management with bundled skills, MCP guidance, and local-first workflows.

What the plugin does
TensorPM helps Codex manage projects, action items, workspaces, and context-heavy planning tasks. The plugin packages the TensorPM skill so Codex can follow a stable workflow instead of guessing across scattered project artifacts.
What is included today
The current Codex plugin package bundles the TensorPM skill, real store metadata, branding assets, legal links, and local marketplace installation support. This is the stable release path today.
How MCP fits in
TensorPM already supports MCP and A2A locally. Today, MCP is installed and configured by the TensorPM desktop app because the local server path and runtime environment are resolved dynamically per machine. That keeps the Codex plugin package accurate without shipping a brittle static MCP configuration.
Recommended setup
- 1.Install the TensorPM desktop app on macOS, Windows, or Linux.
- 2.Start TensorPM locally before using the plugin workflows.
- 3.Install the TensorPM plugin bundle in Codex through a local or team marketplace.
- 4.Use the bundled skill directly, then enable local MCP integration from TensorPM when needed.
Suggested prompts
- Use TensorPM to summarize open action items in the current workspace.
- Use TensorPM to create a new project from this brief and propose the first action items.
- Use TensorPM to review blocked items and suggest the next decisions.
For OpenAI plugin review
TensorPM is positioned as a Productivity plugin for Codex. It is local-first, has published privacy and terms pages, ships a reusable skill, and integrates with a running desktop app for context-driven project management workflows.
