Microsoft Copilot brings AI into Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams, grounded in your Microsoft 365 data. The Planner Agent (formerly Project Manager agent) creates and tracks plans in Planner; its chat for plan insights went GA in September 2026 for premium plans. Facilitator takes live notes in Teams meetings, Copilot Cowork delegates multi-step work, Notebooks keep context across sessions, and Copilot Studio builds custom agents. Copilot memory is in preview. Admins can enable Anthropic models alongside OpenAI models. Copilot Chat (web-grounded) is included at no extra cost with eligible Microsoft 365 plans; work-grounded features need the Copilot license.
