AI Panel & Quick Actions
The AI panel is where you interact with TensorPM’s AI features: chat, model selection, and a set of high-leverage quick actions.
Chat
Use the chat panel to ask questions about your project, generate ideas, or refine action items.
Common patterns:
- Ask for missing context (“What’s unclear or risky in my current scope?”)
- Ask for options (“Give 3 execution plans with trade-offs.”)
- Ask for concrete deliverables (“Draft success criteria.”)
Quick Actions
Quick Actions are designed for fast, repeatable operations. You can toggle them from the chat input header via the button labeled "Toggle Quick Actions" (fast-forward icon).
Item-based actions require a selection. If you see a message like "Select items in edit mode", go to Action Items, switch to "List View", toggle to "Edit", then select one or more items.
Common Quick Actions include:
- Create items
- Create categories
- Re-evaluate a selection of items
- Split items (with optional auto-split)
There are also guidance-focused actions:
- Data quality check
- Project status evaluation
- Strategic analysis
- Execution plan
Custom instructions
If you want consistent results, add custom instructions in Quick Actions (for example “Prefer 1-week milestones” or “Assume a small team”).
