Resources (People, Budget, Files, Trail)
Beyond Action Items, TensorPM includes supporting views that keep execution grounded in real context.
People
Use People to manage stakeholders and contributors.
Current view capabilities include:
- create, edit, and remove people
- role-group and influence filtering
- sorting and quick search
- CSV export
- communication-aware contact data
- account/workspace badges for linked users
People data improves assignment quality in Action Items and communication planning.
Budget
Use Budget to map planned vs actual spend with operational detail.
Budget view supports:
- budget buckets
- simple expense items
- linking Action Items to buckets
- bucket-level totals and variance monitoring
- project-level budget filters and sorting
Display currency and storage currency behavior can be configured in Settings.
Files
Use Files as the project file system and attachment hub.
Current behavior includes:
- grid or list view
- name/type filters and sortable columns
- drag-and-drop moving of files/folders
- file attachments linked to Action Items
- AI summarization indicators for supported file types
In list rows you can typically distinguish:
- summarized files
- attached-to-action-item files
Files can be direct input for AI and context updates.
Trail
Trail is the historical view for context and distillation changes.
Use it to:
- inspect what changed
- compare previous and new values
- understand source context (chat/distiller origin)
- review structured update traces
Trail is especially useful after AI-assisted edits, because it keeps proposal and commit traces inspectable.
If you used older terminology, this is the modern replacement for the former "Distillates" view label in sidebar navigation.
